Skate Frames are now Annodized!
June 11, 2008
I got my skate frames back from the annodizer (I will take photos in the next couple of days).
Here are some quick photos of some of the frames. The photos are of different styles including some ultra light prototypes that I made that will never become production versions.
This photo is my own personal frame. It is an early prototype. I have since moved away from the minimal design to a more beefy look.
This photo is the production style 4×110. The design is slightly more beefy then my own prototype pair.

This photo is the production style 4×100 and is even more beefy then the 110 frame. I think this frame is actually OVERBUILT but it provides value for the customer and is extra strong for rough road abuse especially if the skater is not a light person. I will also make a lighter style 4×100 frame that is more like the 4×110 frame pictured earlier.

The weight of frames runs the range of 185g to 215g with about 40g additional for the brake version. Click here to place your order.

maybe you can raise the deck height a little bit on the 4×100 to where 104 or 105 mm wheels can fit
